New GradBeck's Hybrids is looking for seasonal research staff to assist in the Research Department during the corn and soybean yield testing period. The role involves taking notes, operating harvest equipment, and traveling to field plots while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
Taking notes in the field related to plant qualities using data collection computers
Operating yield test harvest equipment
Driving to/from field plots
Overnight travel four (4) to five (5) days each week (travel expenses covered by Beck’s)
Maintain positive attitude and strong work ethic in order to work well with in a team
Assist with other duties as required by the assigned supervisor
Qualification
Required
Successful completion of Beck's safety training program
This is a safety-sensitive position
Hardworking
Possess positive attitude
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to operate a research combine (training provided)
Ability to operate computers (training provided)
Must have transportation to and from work facility
Ability to work 14-16 hour days five (5) to six (6) days each week
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently
All full-time applicants to whom offers of employment are made must submit to a drug test and background check, subject to applicable local, state, or federal laws or regulations
Employment at Beck's is contingent upon passing these pre-employment screenings

Operating farm or large equipment preferred, but not necessary
