Wafer Process Engineer - 2nd shift
Raytheon is a leader in the research, design, and manufacturing of focal plane arrays and flight-based vision systems. They are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support second shift operations, focusing on vacuum & deposition technology, chemical handling, and semiconductor processing. The role involves managing process development projects, providing process sustainment for various tools, and working in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities
Managing process development and improvement projects, including novel processing techniques, yield increase, throughput, and safety improvements
Responsible for reviewing material in WIP, certifying operators, dispositioning out of flow material, and hands on processing of novel detector designs
Providing Process sustainment of vacuum coating tools, annealing tools, or lithography tools
Developing requirements and qualification plans for new equipment procurements
Working in a cleanroom environment with full coverall garments
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Experience in Process or Manufacturing Engineering in Semiconductor, Optics, Electro-Optics and/or Microelectronics environment
Preferred
Experience with principles of vacuum system operations
Experience with infrared detector technology and semiconductor physics
Project management experience
Knowledge of statistical process control and design of experiments
Equipment and controls system experience
Demonstrated manual wafer handling experience
