Responsibilities

Oversee purchasing and replenishment activities to ensure alignment with approved supply plans
Provide guidance on supplier selection, lead times, order quantities, and escalation of supply issues
Support supplier performance management and supply risk mitigation efforts
Develop and maintain supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, inventory policies, and business objectives
Monitor inventory levels to balance service levels, working capital, and obsolescence risk
Identify and resolve supply constraints, excess inventory, and forecast variances
Drive inventory optimization, accuracy, and continuous improvement initiative
Provide functional supervision to procurement and planning team members, including:
Work prioritization and task assignment
Review of analyses, plans, and purchase decisions
Coaching and mentoring on systems, processes, and best practices
Serve as a point of escalation for planning and purchasing issues
Partner with leadership on process improvements and capability development
Leverage ERP and planning systems to analyze demand, supply, and inventory data
Build and maintain advanced Excel-based models, reports, and dashboards
Provide analytical support to the SIOP process, including data preparation and scenario analysis
Track and report key supply chain KPIs (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels)
Improve data quality, planning processes, and system utilization across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field
3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or procurement
Experience leading or supervising planning and/or procurement activities (formal or informal)
Strong ERP / MRP experience
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas; Power BI a plus)
Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills

Preferred

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field
APICS / CPIM / CSCP certification
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments
Exposure to demand planning, forecasting, and SIOP processes
Experience improving supply chain processes through analytics and system enhancements
