Software Developer
Rivet Operations Company is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to design, develop, and integrate modern web applications, automation solutions, cloud services, and enterprise systems for Fleet Readiness Center Southwest. The developer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for user interface development and application integrations within an agile development environment.

Responsibilities
Develop intuitive graphical user interfaces and full‑stack applications
Create and modernize web and desktop applications using:React, Angular/JS frameworks, Java, NodeJS, HTML5, C#/MVC, Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI), Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQLite
Build RESTful APIs, chatbots, LLM integrations, and UI automation using UiPath
Create dashboards and data visualizations with Power BI
Work with product owners to define requirements and recommend feasible solutions
Contribute to an agile team through planning, design sessions, testing, and retrospectives
Drive development standards and best practices across enterprise teams
Build and maintain the FRCSW SharePoint Site Collection and Intranet
Create SharePoint sites, automate workflows, manage content, and resolve access/permissions issues
Maintain pages, lists, libraries, and develop reports and usage metrics
Perform SCA functions and conduct CUI audits
Build custom apps and automation using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online
Create custom connectors and enhance existing Power Platform solutions
Develop dashboards and reporting tools; support user adoption and training
Design and manage scalable Azure infrastructure; automate provisioning and configuration
Build Azure applications using VMs, App Services, Azure Functions, and related services
Develop custom GPTs, fine‑tune AI models, and integrate AI into business workflows
Create reusable RPA components using UiPath; deliver automation bots and prepare SOPs and training guides
Collaborate with operations and security teams to troubleshoot cloud and AI issues
Maintain detailed technical documentation for infrastructure, automation, and deployments
Query and interact with data sources using Excel (PowerPivot, Power Query, Power Map), Power BI, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory
Automate business processes and prepare database design/architecture documentation for leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
7 years experience developing applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
Strong background in enterprise integrations and third‑party system connectivity
Hands‑on experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Azure cloud services, and RPA tools
Knowledge of AI/LLM technologies, GPT integrations, and automation frameworks
Proficiency in Agile development processes, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration
Experience with Java/Python frameworks, OpenAI GPT and API Integration and full AI stack
Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
Experience with IA / INFOSEC concepts and requirements: Firewall Policy, Ports & Protocols, Cybersecurity, Cybersafe, and DoD A&A processes and standards
Minimum Baseline Certification: CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II equivalent
