Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a small receiving team (3–10 associates) during second shift

Oversee inbound freight and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation

Verify counts, inspect shipments, and identify and resolve discrepancies

Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and day-shift teams to ensure smooth handoffs

Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in the receiving area

Train, coach, and hold team members accountable to performance and safety expectations

Take ownership of the shift by managing priorities, addressing issues as they arise, and escalating when appropriate

Work hands-on in the warehouse, assisting with receiving, stocking and put-away of inventory, staging, and related tasks as needed

Required

Prior warehouse receiving experience

Experience leading or supervising a small warehouse team

Forklift experience

Experience in plumbing supply, construction materials, or industrial distribution
