Responsibilities
Lead analytics, modeling, and data integration tasks that support asset lifecycle management, deferred maintenance reporting, and investment prioritization
Clean, validate, and integrate asset and project datasets from various source systems; develop repeatable ETL processes that ensure data consistency and quality
Develop dashboards and analytic products using Power BI, Tableau, or ArcGIS to communicate trends, insights, and recommendations
Engage with client staff to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with mission priorities
Manage and mentor a junior analyst, including task planning, code review, QA, and technical guidance
Translate complex technical analyses into clear, client-ready visualizations, briefings, and written deliverables
Support development of SOPs, data dictionaries, analytic standards, and repeatable workflows for the Asset Management Program
Qualification
Required
Expert level Excel skills (pivot tables, conditional formatting, XLOOKUP, IF functions)
Experience using Python and/or R (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, tidyverse) for data wrangling, statistical analysis, and modeling
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau and PowerBI
Strong understanding of data quality assurance and working with imperfect operational datasets
Experience leading analytical tasks or workstreams
Experience mentoring, reviewing, or supervising junior analysts or technical staff
Ability to communicate quantitative findings to non-technical audiences
Strong attention to detail and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Bachelor's degree, preferably in data science, engineering, math, statistics, computer science, environmental science, or related field
Preferred
Experience with RSMeans or other cost-estimation methodologies
Experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate
Familiarity with enterprise data warehouse environments, API development, or automated ETL pipelines
Experience developing SOPs, documentation, or training materials for analytics or data processes
Experience coordinating directly with federal clients or leading cross-functional technical teams
