$16/hr - $16/hrKinetic Design + Development is looking for a Design Intern to join the Krew. This internship focuses on hands-on learning, supporting project teams in architectural and interior design tasks while gaining real-world experience in the full design process.

Responsibilities
Support architects and designers with architectural and interior design tasks
Develop models, drawings, and renderings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Lumion
Assist with schematic and design development level client presentations
Pick up and apply detailed redlines with accuracy
Set up sheets, views, schedules, and standard notes
Model existing conditions and simple proposed construction
Prepare models for renderings and visual presentations
Participate in simple design exercises such as plan layouts
Attend client meetings, take notes, and assist with meeting preparation
Conduct site visits and take field measurements under supervision
Research building codes, zoning requirements, and regulations
Support material library organization, sample ordering, and pricing updates
Schedule rep meetings and assist lead designers as needed
Adhere to all aspects of Kinetic’s HR handbook
Qualification
Required
Degree in progress from a NAAB accredited architecture program or an interior design or interior architecture program
Architecture students in their 4th or 5th year of a 5 year program or at least the 2nd year of a 3 year accelerated master's program
Interior design students in their 3rd or 4th year of a 4+ year bachelor's or master's program
Familiarity with construction drawings and the design process
Basic working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset
Professionalism, punctuality, and eagerness to learn
