This role involves leading roadway design and project management for major PennDOT and PA Turnpike projects, ensuring compliance with design standards, and providing mentorship to junior staff.

Responsibilities

Lead roadway design, modeling, and plan development for major PennDOT and PA Turnpike projects

Prepare and oversee roadway plans, specifications, and cost estimates

Ensure compliance with PennDOT, PA Turnpike, and AASHTO design standards

Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and agencies to deliver high-quality, cost-effective transportation solutions

Provide technical mentorship to junior staff (EITs and younger engineers)

Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communication

Qualification

Required

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania (required)

15 years of roadway engineering experience with emphasis on PennDOT and PA Turnpike projects

Proficiency in roadway design/modeling software (MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.)

Demonstrated success in managing roadway projects from planning through delivery

Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
