Systems Engineering Intern (Power)
Texas Instruments is a global semiconductor design and manufacturing company that develops analog ICs and embedded processors. The Systems Engineering Intern for Kilby Labs’ Power group will help architect new cutting-edge products by defining, designing, modeling, implementing, and evaluating various power electronics systems.

Responsibilities
Modeling and comparing isolated and/or non-isolated power converter topologies, including waveform modeling, loss breakdown, parasitic analysis, etc
Modeling and building of magnetic components, including inductors, transformers, shields etc. and their operation in practical circuits, utilizing a variety of magnetic CAD tools
Electrical-magnetic field, thermal, and EMI analysis for power converter systems
Hardware prototype designs and lab evaluation of performance and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher
Preferred
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Ability to build strong, influential relationships
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
