The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land planning and real estate, with a proven track record in negotiating and managing land portfolios.

Responsibilities
Lead the Land Acquisition department in the negotiation of land acquisitions, land use analysis, and purchase agreements
Coordinate due diligence, including concept land planning, environmental, utility system, and title analysis utilizing Land Acquisition Analysts, in-house engineering firm, and internal title company
Demonstrate an understanding of local market dynamics and adjust acquisition efforts accordingly
Qualification
Required
A minimum of five years of experience in residential, single and/or multi-family land acquisitions
Proven success in negotiating and acquiring land, while navigating through the unique obstacles inherent in the local market
A history of leadership roles showing the ability to manage large-scale building projects or land portfolios, preferably in residential development
Bachelor's Degree (JD or Master's degree is a plus)
