Focus on WD is a global IT consulting firm and Workday partner seeking a Workday Integrations Consultant to support their end clients. The role involves end-to-end Workday integrations design, build, testing, release readiness, and production support across core HCM domains.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST), with strong logging, error handling, and retries
Translate business requirements into technical integration designs (mappings, transformations, security domains) aligned to integration and data governance standards
Build and optimize event-driven and scheduled integrations syncing core HCM data (workers, org, jobs/positions, compensation/payroll) with internal and third-party systems
Own testing and release readiness (unit, SIT, regression, UAT), including cutovers and post-go-live warranty support
Provide production monitoring and support: troubleshoot failures, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain operational documentation/runbooks
Partner with HR Tech and cross-platform teams (including ServiceNow HRSD where relevant) to support broader HR transformation and automation opportunities

Required

3–6 years of hands-on Workday integration experience across Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
Proven track record delivering integrations for core HCM domains (worker/org, job & position, compensation/payroll touchpoints) with strong data mapping and transformation skills
Experience executing full testing lifecycles (unit through UAT), release readiness, and production support for Workday integrations in an enterprise environment
Demonstrated ability to partner with HR/IT stakeholders and operate within HR technology governance and data integrity standards
Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills (diagnosing interface issues, parsing logs, implementing preventive improvements)

Preferred

familiarity with integrations supporting HR service delivery (e.g., routing HR transactions through ServiceNow HRSD and syncing back to Workday)
Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Integration, Studio) or Workday Pro accreditations (nice to have)
