Respond to public inquiries via phone, online, and in person
Interview potential complainants and analyze submitted information
Draft complaints, referrals, and case documentation
Prepare and maintain case files for investigations
Apply Indiana and Federal Civil Rights laws to determine jurisdiction
Send notices, correspondence, and required documentation
Provide excellent customer service and support monthly reporting
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 6 months of administrative experience
Legal or paralegal coursework
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and computer systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to type accurately and handle confidential information
Preferred
Knowledge of Indiana and Federal Civil Rights Laws
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Experience interpreting policies, procedures, and legal guidelines
