Director, Sales North America
SCIENION is a global leader in precision dispensing dedicated to the life science and diagnostic industry. They are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to expand their market presence and drive sales of ultra-low volume dispensing technologies and services, primarily in the northeast region.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the diagnostic and single cell sectors
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including laboratories, research institutions, industry and healthcare facilities
Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing client needs and resolving enquiries promptly
Demonstrate knowledge of SCIENION technology and services and their applications in diagnostics
Conduct product presentations, for potential and existing customers
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities
Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to enhance product offerings and strategies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
6–10 years of team leadership experience, managing and mentoring regional sales managers
Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in marketing, sales, or applications within the Biotech or diagnostics industry
Strong understanding of diagnostic technologies and laboratory workflows
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
