Responsibilities

Perform analytical tests to determine quality, purity etc
Analyze data obtained form testing and document according to standard policy and procedures
May troubleshoot existing or potential problems with equipment, chemicals and processes or notify the proper person
Dispose of waste (chemicals and solids) produced in the lab according to policy and procedures and legal regulations
Adhere to all plant policies and rules on safety, fire protection, good housekeeping, operating practices and personal conduct. Ensure that all equipment is operated safety and that work areas and equipment are kept clean and orderly

Qualification

Analytical chemistryData analysisBasic lab equipmentManufacturing experienceMechanical aptitude

Required

Bachelors degree in science related field

Preferred

Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience working a rotating shift schedule
Experience with basic lab equipment, such as autotitration instrumentation and gas and liquid chromatography systems
