Responsibilities
Contribute as a core member of the product squad or scrum team to convey functional requirements, create/groom user stories, prioritize the product backlog, and engage in testing efforts
Partner with stakeholders, clients, and product managers to understand the requirements, capabilities, and user experience
Ensure engagement and ongoing involvement from the cross functional team (Sales, TechOps, Customer Success, Marketing, etc.) to provide a continuous feedback loop into the product development process
Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and product managers to align product roadmaps against known dependencies
Define, prioritize, and own the product backlog to reflect the solution scope, vision, and roadmap
Conduct the final user acceptance testing and sign-off of a given user story upon completion of development of requirements
Participate in daily development team standups and iteration sprint planning sessions to represent the product requirements and respond to any questions regarding the feature set
Participate in weekly scrum meetings
Organize and facilitate presentations to business stakeholders for product demos
Qualification
Required
Strong fund accounting experience within the hedge fund industry, with a deep understanding of portfolio accounting, NAV processes, and alternative investment structures
Hands-on experience with Eagle PACE or Aladdin platforms; ability to support functional workflows and partner closely with technology teams on enhancements or issue resolution
Functional expertise in investment operations, fund accounting processes, and related data management workflows
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams, translate business needs, and collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to manage complex data, requirements, and prioritization
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution
A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user story development
Preferred
Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus
Preferred Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
