This role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting critical applications for banking operations, primarily using COBOL, JCL, and Easytrieve.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and support both CICS online and batch processing applications written primarily in COBOL, JCL, and Easytrieve, using VSAM files and some DB2
Work is roughly 50% project-based, 30% ongoing support, and 20% administrative or analytical activities

Required

7–15+ years of mainframe application development and support experience

Languages: COBOL, JCL, Easytrieve
Databases: VSAM, some DB2
Online Systems: CICS
Tools: File-AID, Abend-AID, ChangeMan, Control-M

Preferred

Prior experience in banking or financial services preferred
