Responsibilities
Process incoming legal discovery questions and assist with preparation of discovery responses
Research and retrieve prior discovery responses for reference and consistency
Create, prepare, organize, and archive legal and regulatory documents
Maintain and update discovery tracker logs, including completion status and submission details
Archive submitted discovery responses in accordance with established record-keeping standards
Assist with preparation of documentation for evidentiary hearings
Assist with auditing electric outage notification emails sent to state regulators
Archive regulatory materials as official records using established naming conventions
Ensure documentation meets regulatory and compliance requirements
Provide ad hoc clerical assistance including copying, filing, and organizing hard-copy records
Create and maintain physical files and binders
Lift and move boxes of files or binders weighing approximately 20–30 pounds as needed
Qualification
Required
High attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a clerical, document-intensive role
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Proficiency with document preparation and basic office technology (e.g., Word, Excel, PDF tools)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a structured, process-driven environment
Preferred
Familiarity with legal or regulatory procedures, including pleadings, responses, and orders
Experience supporting legal assistants, paralegals, or regulatory teams
Exposure to regulatory compliance or state-level regulatory processes
Prior experience in an administrative, clerical, or legal support role
