Project Engineer

Employers Options is seeking a Project Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team. The role involves supporting Project Managers with daily project administration and coordination, managing project documentation, and ensuring project success through collaboration and organization.

Responsibilities

Support Project Managers with daily project administration and coordination
Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and document control
Assist with change order preparation, pricing support, and tracking
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams
Maintain project logs, meeting minutes, and correspondence
Assist with safety documentation, including Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs)
Support project close-out activities, including O&M manuals, warranties, and turnover documentation
Track warranties and ensure proper documentation is completed and archived
Use Bluebeam and Microsoft Office tools to review, edit, and manage project documents
Perform other duties as assigned to support project success
Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities
Alignment with DDL’s mission, vision, and core values

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to problem-solve
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in Bluebeam
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook knowledge
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities
Alignment with DDL's mission, vision, and core values
