Responsibilities
Provide direct oversight and strategic leadership for a portfolio of multifamily assets
Actively manage third-party property managers and supervise capital improvement programs to ensure execution of asset-level business plans
Lead the development, execution, and ongoing refinement of asset-level business plans to optimize operational and financial performance
Review, analyze, and approve monthly and quarterly financial reporting; identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to senior leadership and investors
Maintain, enhance, and review cash flow projections, valuations, and sensitivity analyses
Oversee the preparation, analysis, and approval of annual operating budgets and capital plans, ensuring alignment with ownership objectives
Serve as the primary point of contact for property managers, joint venture partners, LP equity, and lender representatives
Conduct property site inspections and market research to validate performance and value-add initiatives
Lead and support acquisition and disposition efforts, including due diligence, underwriting review, transition planning, and execution
Proactively identify performance issues and risks; develop and implement risk mitigation and corrective action strategies
Drive accountability with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of operational and financial initiatives
Manage special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate or related subject
7+ years of relevant real estate asset management experience, with demonstrated responsibility for portfolio-level decision-making
Ability to communicate complex analyses and recommendations clearly and succinctly to senior management and investors
Proven experience overseeing multifamily assets, including direct interaction with property management and capital partners
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and scenario analysis
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assets and priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Strategic thinker with strong business judgment and the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence outcomes
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with a proactive and ownership-oriented mindset
Possess a high degree of self-confidence with capability to interact well with internal and external teams
