Associate Director, Market Research and Competitive Intelligence - Hampton, NJ

The Associate Director of Market Research and Competitive Intelligence will generate insights to drive the commercial launch of barzolvolimab, managing market research and competitive intelligence to support the launch team.

Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of quantitative and qualitative market research for HCP and patients, and support market research for payer and access related efforts
Design and manage market tracking studies (specifically ATUs, segmentation, message testing, TPP refinement)
Distill market research findings into a go-to-market strategy that is actionable, providing business recommendations as a key contributor within the launch team
Co-owner in barzolvolimab brand planning
Lead CI planning and execution for barzolvolimab
Develop and maintain competitive landscapes
Present findings, as appropriate, to team members, including those in executive leadership
Partner closely with Forecasting, Analytics, Marketing, Access and Medical Affairs to integrate CI into scenario planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent in experience (Life Sciences, Business, or related field)
Advanced degree strongly preferred (MBA, MD, PharmD, PhD, or Masters in Market Research, Health Economics or a related field)
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in biotech/pharma, healthcare consulting, equity research or finance with 3 years being the owner of select or all market research and CI programming
Relentless desire to answer tough questions and an ability to apply oneself diligently to do so
Firm understanding of market research methodologies
Ability to conduct market research independently, as needed
Ability to find, select, and manage external partners in a manner that continually generates competitive edge
Strong knowledge of biopharma/biotech commercial strategy and product development
Highly analytical and extensive experience with tools such as AlphaSense, FactSet, TrialTrove, IQVIA, Komodo Health, etc
Demonstrated ability to identify novel approaches to answering key business questions and uncover insights that will be 'needle movers' in future market conditions for pre-commercial products
Experience working cross-functionally with Forecasting, Access, and Marketing teams, or related experience
Travel Required – Up to 30%
