Inside Sales Engineer - Industrial Machinery
RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support their sales pipeline through quoting, proposal development, and technical coordination. This inside sales role is ideal for a sales-minded engineer with experience who wants exposure to complex projects and a clear path into Outside Sales or Project Management.

Responsibilities
Respond to RFQs, RFPs, and bid opportunities for engineered industrial systems
Prepare quotes, proposals, and bid packages
Coordinate pricing, scope, and technical details with engineering and operations
Track bid activity, follow up with customers, and support negotiations
Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate scope and pricing
Support senior sales staff with technical input on complex opportunities
Serve as a primary inside sales contact during the pre-award process
Maintain CRM records and bid documentation
Participate in occasional local site visits
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales, or application engineering
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Minimum GPA of 3.5
Experience in bid- or proposal-driven sales environments
Strong communication skills and sales-oriented mindset
Ability to read technical drawings and manage multiple bids
Preferred
Experience in industrial equipment, automation, construction, or material handling
Exposure to public-sector or government bids
CRM, ERP, or estimating software experience
