Responsibilities

Supplier Performance Management: Serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of assigned suppliers, holding full accountability for monitoring their operational performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost
Repair Processing and Material Routing: As required, creates Service Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, & Deliveries/TF(s) and initiate work orders/requests with suppliers for RMA(s) as required
Work in Progress (WIP) Management: Tracks WIP & provides exchange offers to customers when necessary & advanced exchanges when requested. Ensure timely and accurate closure of service orders after delivery and on status/reporting tools to maintain accurate WIP & OTR (on-time requested by customer)
Rotable Pool Inventory Support: Contributes to maintain inventory accuracy with location of parts in the system (SAP)
KPI Tracking and Analytics: Meticulously track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Turnaround Time (TAT) and On-Time Delivery (OTD). Use advanced data analytics to identify performance trends, forecast material flow, and proactively identify risks and opportunities
Performance Reviews: Prepares for and leads periodic performance review meetings with suppliers. Present data-driven insights, broadcast performance scorecards, and work collaboratively to develop and implement improvement initiatives
Issue Resolution and Recovery: Leads and coordinates corrective action plans in the event of KPI deviations or non-conformances, ensuring timely and effective resolution. This includes leading supplier recovery plans for underperforming suppliers
Warranty Management: Manages the warranty and claim process for parts that experience quality escapes after repair or overhaul, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution
Risk Management: Monitors supplier risks and develops mitigation plans to minimize potential disruptions to the supply chain. This includes conducting risk analyses such as load versus capacity assessments
Builds and monitor delivery schedules with Suppliers in accordance with customer priorities
Builds and Maintain Suppliers scorecards
Prepares external repair forecast and accurately coordinates with external suppliers/vendors
Provides estimated delivery dates and supplier/vendor progress reports to Customer experience team
Challenges shops and repair suppliers on turnaround times and costs are within the defined threshold
Reporting: Updates and maintains status dashboards for internal stakeholders and customers, providing regular reports on supplier performance to the Equipment Manager and senior management
Training & Development: Completes all mandatory recurrent training and participates in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry best practices and quality systems (e.g., AS9100, Lean, Six Sigma)
Meetings & Collaboration: Attends and actively participates in internal cross-functional meetings with procurement, quality, engineering, and logistics teams
Contractual Compliance: Monitors and enforces contractual performance requirements, linking supplier performance to contractual obligations and assisting with the claim process where applicable. As well as assist Procurement in establishing targeted supplier service level agreements
On-site Visits: Conducts regular on-site visits to supplier locations to support performance recovery efforts and assess manufacturing processes and capabilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
Seven (7) years experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement, or vendor management environment
Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
Authorized to Work in the US

Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Daily
Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Daily

Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Minimally
Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Minimally
Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools
Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Daily
Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Regularly
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. Very minimal
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces
Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor

Preferred

Master's degree in Business Administration or related field
Three (3) years experience in the aerospace, aviation, or a similar field
Three (3) years experience in MRO processes
Three (3) SAP experience in SD, MM, WM or SD environment
APICS Certification (CSCP, CTSC, or CPIM)
