Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the bank’s special assets, collections, and workout activities
Manage a portfolio of non-performing and criticized commercial loans
Develop and execute workout, restructuring, liquidation, and recovery strategies
Oversee relationships with legal counsel, appraisers, brokers, and other third parties
Provide regular reporting and recommendations to executive management and credit leadership
Ensure compliance with internal credit policy and regulatory requirements
Participate in credit risk reviews and portfolio-level problem loan analysis
Mentor and manage special assets and collections staff
Qualification
Required
Significant experience in commercial loan workouts, special assets, or credit risk within a bank
Prior people management experience
Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation, restructuring, and recovery processes
Ability to interact directly with senior management and external stakeholders
