Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and key customers to support growth
Travel to meet with customers to provide technical support, training and demonstrations, offering tooling solutions to suit the requirements of the customer
Attend tradeshows and exhibitions to promote new cutting tools and machining solutions
Generate quotations and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation to the close of the sale
Qualification
Required
Prior experience selling or using cutting tools used for metal cutting / CNC machining
Located in Illinois and happy to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred
A technical background as a CNC Machinist / Programmer is desirable
Previous experience as a sales engineer or applications engineer will be advantageous however full training will be provided for the right person
