Responsibilities
Review data and revisions on job sheet, prints, and variable sheets
Compare new and previous 1st Articles to verify data
Perform 1st Article Inspections
Check 1-3 parts at random machines in manufacturing departments, including but not limited to finish, pin measurement, OD/ID, root size, runout, and length of cut
Perform in-process inspections
Be flexible to work in multiple departments as needed
Assist with blank inspection from internal blanking and blank suppliers as needed
Qualification
Required
Quality control experience
Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and quality assurance tools
Ability to operate vari-roll testing fixtures and use optical comparators
Understanding of GD&T skills/Blueprint reading
Strong communication skills to train others
Basic math and geometry skills
Basic materials knowledge
Be flexible to work in multiple departments as needed
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Preferred
Experience in gear knowledge is preferred
Ability to create tooth/space alignment layouts
