Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
Strategy Implementation: Direct, refine, and implement sourcing strategies to drive corporate earnings, growth, and business transformation objectives
Market Intelligence: Align product strategies with organizational goals by leveraging pricing intelligence, industry indices, and competitive benchmarks
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO): Promote a TCO mindset to ensure long-term value while balancing the needs of employees, customers, shareholders, and suppliers
Planning: Develop procurement supply and demand plans and establish sourcing objectives in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Execution & Operations
Lifecycle Management: Manage end-to-end sourcing for assigned goods and services, including creating Statements of Work (SOWs), clarifying business requirements, and executing RFPs ahead of client needs
Negotiation & Contracting: Lead supplier negotiations and develop procurement contracts that optimize internal client value, leverage existing terms, and minimize risk
Continuous Improvement: Deliver year-over-year cost and quality improvements and recommend process enhancements supported by measurable metrics
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders and cross-functional procurement teams to influence outcomes
Supplier Performance: Manage supplier assessments, development plans, and corrective action plans to address performance gaps or escalations
Communication: Clearly document and communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, negotiation, supply chain, and/or finance
Bachelor's degree in Business or a quantitative discipline
Proven experience conducting RFPs, drafting SOWs, and managing complex procurement programs or projects
Develops innovative short- and long-term sourcing strategies
Drives effective resource allocation, tracks impact, and delivers data-driven recommendations
Builds trust across teams, influences decision-making, and leads complex change initiatives
Delivers value with a strong emphasis on experience and innovation
Adapts quickly to evolving business and industry demands
Demonstrates ethical responsibility and accountability in all actions
Preferred
7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, negotiation, supply chain, and/or finance
Strong background in Professional Services categories and Corporate/Workplace sourcing
