New Grad, Entry LevelLead Collective is seeking a passionate and organized Reach Program Coordinator to join our team and help create second chances for justice-involved youth through Gospel-centered, relationship-driven diversion services. This role provides direct support to the Reach Program Director by facilitating programming and managing volunteers.
Responsibilities
Recruit and manage volunteers
Coordinate volunteers (mentors, meal providers and guest speakers) for group mentoring
Attend and facilitate program
Prepare for and set up program
Recruit/Coordinate with mentors for Juvenile Detention Facility. This involves walking them through the process to gain access to the Juvenile Jail, and connecting them with the appropriate staff to be paired with a mentee
Follow up monthly with Juvenile Detention Facility mentors to provide support and ongoing training as they minister to students
Coordinate meal train and speakers to Juvenile Detention Facility
Assist Program Director with after-care follow ups for Reach graduates
Communicate with parents and send reminders for group mentoring weekly
Qualification
Required
Passionate and organized
Experience in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers
Ability to facilitate programming
Strong communication skills
Experience working with justice-involved youth
Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders
Willingness to work in a faith-based environment
