Ability to plan and develop an instructional program in the Digital Media Arts content area
Knowledge of digital art, graphic design, digital photography, and introductory video production
Proficiency with industry-standard software, including Adobe Photoshop and related digital media tools
Knowledge of digital camera operation, composition, lighting, and image editing workflows
Ability to teach both secondary and College Credit Plus (CCP) coursework in digital photography and digital design
Strong communication skills and the ability to both manage students and inspire students to learn, innovate, and create are essential
Valid licensure by the Ohio Department of Education in Visual Arts, Media Arts, or a related CTE field OR High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the digital media arts field
Experience preparing students for industry-recognized certifications in visual design or digital imaging preferred
