Responsibilities

Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
Design and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Robot Framework
Perform manual and automated testing , analyze results, and log defects with clear documentation
Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and define effective test coverage
Participate in design reviews, code inspections, and requirements discussions to ensure product testability and quality
Analyze testing metrics and trends to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
Maintain test environments, test data, and automation tools to ensure reliable and repeatable testing
Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes
Stay current with emerging testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
3–6 years of experience in software testing, QA, or validation roles
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management
Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Robot Framework)
Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred

Experience with NI Platform Validation
Hands-on experience with Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control systems (Git, SVN)
Background in testing embedded systems, IoT devices, or hardware platforms
Understanding of regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, IEC)
Software testing certifications (ISTQB, CSTE) or Master's degree preferred
