Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and grow sales with PetSmart and Petco, including account strategy, line reviews, seasonal planning, and day-to-day business management
Develop strong product expertise in pet beds and broader pet supplies, effectively communicating category insights and product value
Drive offline retail expansion into Walmart, Target, and major Off-price partners
Conduct regular competitive shopping (comp shops) to evaluate market trends, pricing, assortment gaps, and promotional activity
Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize assortment, pricing, packaging, and product positioning
Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to support retail execution
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and deliver timely market and category insights to leadership
Build and nurture long-term relationships with retail partners to support sustainable business growth

Required

10+ years of experience in offline retail sales, account management, or category management, with 5+ years in the pet supplies or related consumer goods industry
Strong knowledge of pet beds and pet supplies categories, including market and competitive landscape
Proven ability to manage and scale national retail accounts, consistently achieving sales and margin targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong analytical mindset with comfort using data to drive decisions
Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Bachelor's degree required

Existing PetSmart and/or Petco buyer relationships strongly preferred
