Responsibilities
Provides leadership to Programs personnel
Maintains Nuclear Station design and licensing basis
Performs reviews of major Programs scope and codes
Resolves Condition Reports
Facilitates staffing activities
Directs the activities of the individual contributors within the group
Coordinates and plans large work-scope projects and task teams
Coordinates Programs baseline, O&M and Capital budgets
Prioritizes and approves group activities and work products
Allocates personnel and budget to complete engineering activities and meet Fleet goals
Provides timely resolution to technical problems to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operation
Provides engineering recommendations and priorities important to plant operations
Controls costs within approved budget limits
Interfaces with State and Federal regulators to demonstrate continued safe operation of the Nuclear Station
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years exp in nuclear power
BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology
Experience leading technical professionals, budgeting, planning, and scheduling
Preferred
Technical understanding of nuclear plant processes, programs, and procedures
Knowledge of nuclear codes, standards and regulations
Nuclear Programs Engineering experience
SRO Certification or License
