As a Structural Engineering Intern on the Rail Bridge team, you will engage in hands-on work related to railroad bridges and supporting structures, collaborating with experienced engineers while gaining real-world experience.

Responsibilities
Perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career
Be part of a team, working for our clients on projects involving railroad bridges and supporting structures
Be involved in a variety of tasks including basic project design through CAD drafting and performing research
Travel to job sites for observation as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong communication skills
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Pursuing a degree in structural engineering or civil engineering
Ability to work 10 to 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer
