Responsibilities
Accurately annotate and label diverse datasets (primarily images, text, and occasionally other media) by drawing bounding boxes and applying appropriate tags in strict accordance with provided project guidelines
Transcribe text found within images or audio files, ensuring correct spelling, grammar, and context in English
Follow detailed instructions and adhere to project deadlines and time-bound tasks within an agile, fast-paced environment
Collaborate effectively with AI development, analytics, and other cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Identify and suggest efficiencies in data annotation tooling, workflows, and processes to enhance team performance and support AI model improvements
Perform repetitive data entry and annotation tasks efficiently while maintaining a consistently high standard of quality and precision
Organize and focus sufficiently to work productively both independently and as a contributing role player within a collaborative team environment
Qualification
Required
Experience: Entry-level position; prior annotation experience is a plus but not required
Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and general knowledge of online communication platforms
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English typing and grammar is required for accurate data transcription and communication
Willingness to work overtime if necessary is required
Preferred
Background in CS or a related technical discipline
Familiarity with data annotation tools (e.g., Labelbox, Prodigy, or similar)
Familiarity with analytics platforms or dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Understanding of AI/ML workflows and data annotation requirements
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
