Demand Planner
Phoenix Contact is seeking a Demand Planner to support effective planning and execution of materials and inventory. This role involves maintaining accurate ERP parameters, analyzing demand data, executing purchase orders, and collaborating with various departments to ensure product availability and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Execute inventory planning strategies to support improved inventory turns while maintaining required service levels
Prepare and maintain routine reports and data analysis to support key performance indicators (KPIs)
Participate in Lean and continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing productivity and supply chain efficiency
Monitor and manage inventory levels based on product usage, forecast trends, and customer stocking programs
Support quarterly inventory processes such as scrap reviews and returns to suppliers
Review customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical data to establish ERP system parameters (e.g., EOQ, lot size, safety stock, reorder points)
Manage replenishment and stocking programs for designated customers
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Strategic Purchasing to support stocking programs, bonded inventory, and blanket order execution
Track and report performance metrics related to product availability, delivery performance, inventory turns, and months-on-hand (MOH)
Coordinate new item setups and data requirements with the Item Control Administrator
Provide cross-functional support and perform backup responsibilities within the Supply Chain Services (SCS) department as required
Attend meetings and prepare relevant planning data and reports
Perform daily ERP functions including: Creating purchase orders, Issuing orders, Preparing reject notices and corrective action requests, Responding to supplier issues related to forecasts, product demand, revisions, or receipt discrepancies
Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field
3–5 years of relevant experience in demand planning, supply planning, or supply chain operations
Working knowledge of MRP and CRP systems
Experience using forecasting tools and understanding of bills of materials
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Solid math and statistical analysis skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Self-motivated, action-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to withstand long periods (up to 4 hours without a break)
Must be able to read and write fluently in English
Must be professional, ethical, and customer-focused
Must be willing to travel internationally
Must be willing to work over-time as needed
