Application SDLC, deployment and runtime management with a goal of reducing product cycle time
Infrastructure Services – proxies, load balancing, cloud integration
Risk Management – Resiliency design & planning, collection and analysis of availability metrics
Qualification
Required
Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or related Engineering Field
7+ years combined experience in an Engineering Capacity
5+ years of Java development and other programming languages with experience in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and testing best practices
Knowledge in one or more SQL dialects
4+ years in a system architecture role responsible for tool selection, design decisions, optimizing performance, risk mitigation, and team development
Strong creative leader, self-motivated with analytical mindset who can multi-task to solve interesting and difficult technical problems under time pressure and resource constraints
Must have a client and product mindset with experience collaborating with product and/or business managers to propose products and their associate features
Experience in delivering high quality technical solutions to multiple global stakeholders in a fast paced environment and managing junior developers
Ensure that teams follow best practices for system design and conformance to high standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation
Effectively partner with external teams to ensure we meet our goals for system integration, application deployment, feed management and reporting
Ensure systems can scale to handle increasing business volumes, optimize performance and throughput. Good understanding of distributed systems
Experience with all stages of the development lifecycle: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deployment
Experience building and sustaining long-term relationships with clients and colleagues in a diverse global organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholder
