Vice President of Sales
Sterling Engineering is a stable, mid-sized manufacturing company with a long history of doing things the right way. They are seeking a Vice President of Sales to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term customer partnerships while leading a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities
Own and execute the company’s sales strategy aligned with overall business goals
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team
Drive revenue growth through market expansion, pipeline development, and customer retention
Leverage existing HVAC industry relationships to open doors and expand market presence
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to guide strategy
Partner closely with operations and product teams to align demand with delivery
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track results and accountability
Represent the company with key customers, industry partners, and at trade shows
Participate in executive-level strategic planning alongside ownership
Qualification
Required
Extensive HVAC industry experience is required
Established network and customer relationships within the HVAC space
10+ years of progressive sales leadership in a manufacturing or industrial B2B environment
Proven ability to drive growth through relationships, strategy, and execution
Strong executive presence and comfort working directly with ownership
Bachelor's degree required
