Responsibilities
Author, maintain, and validate IT SOX control narratives (ITGCs, application controls, SDLC controls)
Assess new and existing applications for SOX impact, risk, and scoping
Review and disposition SOC1 reports for third-party providers
Perform control testing, track deficiencies, and validate remediation to closure
Partner with internal stakeholders, audit teams, and control owners
Provide compliance reporting and status updates to management
Drive continuous improvement and mentor IT control owners
Qualification
Required
10+ years supporting enterprise IT SOX programs (Fortune 500 preferred)
Strong expertise in SOX, ICFR, ITGCs, and control frameworks
Hands-on experience with control narratives, SOX risk assessments, and testing
Proven SOC1 review and evaluation experience
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
