Responsibilities

Guide applicants through the Compact licensing process
Review and approve licensing applications for compliance
Provide technical expertise and real-time support in the WMC call center
Ensure accuracy in licensing information to maintain compliance and prevent legal risks

Qualification

Required

Two (2) or more years of experience consulting or managing licensing physicians, physician assistants, or anesthesiologist assistants for a medical regulatory agency
Four (4) or more years of experience consulting or managing licensing in a healthcare credentialing in a hospital, insurance agency, or healthcare administration setting
Experience will include practical skills in Adobe PDF and MS Word for document creation and formatting, MS Excel for spreadsheet tasks, and company-specific database management, and Microsoft Outlook or similar email systems for electronic correspondence and scheduling
Two (2) or more years of experience in a fast-paced production environment requiring tight timelines, fluent understanding of processes, and reprioritizing workload to meet unit and customer needs
One (1) or more years of experience contributing to the development of processes and procedures related to health professional licensing or credentialing
One (1) or more years of experience preparing correspondence and answering telephones daily, which includes high-level professional interaction with customers and partners with varied levels of involvement, understanding, and commitment

Preferred

Customer service experience that includes resolving problems and responding to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and services
Project support experience that includes managing tasks, directing others, and reporting progress to project managers
Electronic communications and calendar programs, such as Outlook to compose, send, and respond to electronic mail, and coordinate schedules and schedule meetings
Electronic database system to update and/or maintain records in a paperless work environment
Accessing and searching the internet or databases to research licensee data, and historical information, and download relevant materials
Experience providing technical assistance or website navigation
