New Grad, Entry LevelTextron is a leading aviation company seeking an Entry Level A&P Mechanic for their Houston Service Center. In this role, you will perform licensed A&P work, including repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of aircraft to ensure safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Perform assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks to support airframe overhauls, modifications, and system updates, including removal, replacement, and restoration of components across engines, airframes, and integrated systems
Assist licensed A&P mechanics with aircraft maintenance activities, including equipment setup, teardown, and coordinated repair tasks to ensure efficient workflow
Use specialized tools such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and other precision instruments to inspect, repair, or modify avionics and mechanical systems
Tow, maneuver, and position aircraft safely during maintenance operations to support inspection, repair, and production activities
Clean, prepare, and reinstall aircraft parts and components to support accurate reassembly and ensure systems meet quality and performance standards
Support day-to-day service center functions by assisting with tasks that keep maintenance operations running smoothly and aligned with customer needs
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
A&P License is required
In lieu of A&P license must have DD214 form to be reviewed and eligible for company-sponsored technical certification and future license achievement
AND must have hours of On-the-Job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) reviewed and evaluated by FSDO
Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, jet and piston airframe and engine principals, and use of arithmetic and blueprints is required
Experience on mechanical repair of vehicles, preferably aircraft –through technical training, apprenticeship, schooling, or similar experience is helpful
