Documentation Associate
Bci Miami is a financial services provider focused on innovations and personalized client experience. The Documentation Associate role involves providing control and operational support bank-wide, including account onboarding, maintenance, and administrative services.

Responsibilities
Account onboarding: Creation of customers, contacts and accounts in the bank's core system (IBS). Conduct approval of peer’s entries under dual control process
Account maintenance: Update of customers, contacts and accounts in the bank's core system (IBS). Conduct approval of peer’s entries under dual control process
Debit Cards: Handle investigations with provider, delivery of cards, conduct monthly audit of cards in custody and maintaining log current
Scanning and/or Digitizing: Includes indexing, staging and uploading of all new account opening documentation and account maintenances to bank’s repository platform
Special projects: assist with bank’s projects when needed such as CDDs etc
Tokens (Multipass): process customers request, deliver tokens to customers, request activation of devices with IT and notify account officers upon completion
Verification of customer signature (all banking services except loan operations)
Must have common sense, be organized and possess strong analytical and ethical skills
Must provide timely and appropriate responses to requests for information and/or customer complaints or concerns and provide appropriate follow up to ensure issues are resolved
Must maintain courteous, professional and effective internal and external working relationships
Must receive and provide clear, constructive feedback in a cooperative and professional manner, as well as, recommendations and reports for improvements
Ability to understand, speak, read and write English and Spanish (at least Intermediate level)
Ability to carry and lift boxes and objects that may weigh between 10 and 25 pounds
Assume evolving duties and responsibilities of position and assist VP Documentation Manager as needed
Effectively speaking before groups of customers or employees
Filing, scanning and other documentation/administrative duties as required
Travel as required
Provide coverage for other positions as requested
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Responsible for ensuring compliance with branch’s policies and procedures as related to the processes conducted
Work all hours required to fulfill job duties and responsibilities (including, weekends, evenings and holidays as needed)
Qualification
Required
Ability to operate IBM compatible personal computers
Fluency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint at an intermediate level
Use other softwares such as (1) Datapro - IBS, (2) Sydel/Complixpert System, (3) Global Radar, (4) DMS Laserfiche, (5) IDOC, (6) Salesforce (7) LexisNexis/Worldcompliance, etc
High School Diploma
One to three years banking or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
