Responsibilities
Perform system level design and configuration of MSNE systems including determination of hardware, operating system, and other platform specifications to meet project requirements while maintaining interoperability with existing sponsor networks
Lead recommendations that involve engineering development, integration, and interface design analysis, installation, integration, fielding and field analysis, operation, maintenance, and testing of customers communication systems and networks hardware and software
Plan large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and trade/cost studies
Develop and maintain network architecture specifications and artifacts
Supports local, regional, and wide area networks (WANs), and customers communication systems and networks supporting voice, video, data, and imagery information
Identify the need for routers, switches, and encryption devices to support enterprise services
Perform a variety of system engineering tasks that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation; troubleshoot unique or complex problems
Qualification
Required
10 years' experience designing local, regional, network systems and subsystems supporting voice, video, data, and imagery information
5 years' experience leading teams to address complex IT projects
Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CNNP)
Large enterprise environment experience
Experience providing senior-level engineering support and subject matter expertise
DoD Top Secret security clearance
B.S in technical or IT discipline
Preferred
PMP
Experience working in NAVAIR/NAWCAD
