Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategy aligned with plant objectives
Lead multi-functional teams in procurement, logistics, inventory control, warehousing, and supplier quality
Manage domestic and global supplier relationships
Oversee demand forecasting, MRP, safety stock levels, and inventory optimization
Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective material flow
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping) to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and sustainability standards
Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams to align supply chain with business goals
Develop and manage departmental budgets and KPIs (inventory turns, supplier on-time performance, logistics cost per unit)
Mentor and develop supply chain team talent
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
10–15 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, preferably in high-volume manufacturing or EV/automotive industries
Experience managing global supply chains, sourcing strategy, logistics, and inventory management
Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics
Strong leadership, team development, and problem-solving skills
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Willingness to be based in Manteno, IL, with occasional travel
Preferred
MBA preferred
EV battery manufacturing experience is a plus
