Griffin Armament is an industry-leading manufacturing technology company in the firearms market segment seeking a motivated Regional Sales Representative to join their national sales team. The role involves traveling 50% of the year to manage client relationships and drive sales within the assigned region, while also utilizing CRM systems for data management.

Responsibilities

Have previous experience in sales, preferably firearms retail sales at a professional and prominent gun store
Prospect for new business to build and maintain a client base in your region (Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana)
Requires evening and weekend hours
Be excited to travel 50% of the year with a company provided vehicle within your region. You will be responsible for planning your own trips, coordinating meeting, demonstrations, events, etc
Absorb provided training at the Corporate headquarters in Watertown WI for initial onboard
Immerse yourself in the Griffin product line, and that of our competitors so that you have a deep understanding of applications and nuances
CRM and Netsuite is your friend. We use Netsuite as an ERP and a very popular CRM to keep all your sales data and relationships on track
Accurate and timely filing of expense paperwork must be completed frequently
Daily operational conduct within the policies of your department and Griffin Armament as a whole

Required

Must conduct the phone screen and supply a copy of a valid government issued ID for background check which is required by the federal government for this position

Strong interpersonal skills
Persuasive presentation skills with experience presenting to small audiences
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience traveling in a sales territory, cold calling, travel and product demos
Exceptional negotiating skills
Self motivated with strong organizational skills and timeliness of work obligations
Familiar with ERP systems, Google suite, and CRM functionality
High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Preferred

Bachelors degree or relevant work experience preferred
Experience and/or strong knowledge in firearms and the firearms industry is a plus
