Responsibilities
Lead the planning and development of technical design. Manage Design Assurance Levels (DAL) across hardware lifecycles
Author white papers, test plans, technical documentation and test reports
Work with project specific systems engineering to understand and maintain customer requirements
Ensure compliance with industry standards where applicable
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field strongly preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role
Proven understanding of MIL and DO STDs
Ability to work in a team and gather information required for technical documentation
Understands data input/output requirements and equipment requirements
Broad knowledge of engineering systems including digital and analog electronics, and mechanics
Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot circuits if needed
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Able to speak comfortably with management, program managers and directors, and clients
Willing and able to travel both in and outside US
Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance required
Preferred
Preferred skillset in 3d Modeling, mechanical design and structural analyses
Military service or government contract experience preferred
