Responsibilities
Performing and overseeing molecular experiments including DNA/RNA extractions, PCR, and ELISAs
Conducting murine studies on diabetic wound infection including sample collection (wound and kidneys), tissue processing, and protocol maintenance and development
Establishment and maintenance of epithelial and immune cell cultures
Maintenance of an electronic lab notebook and ability to organize data of presentation and publication quality
Supporting the PI and all trainees in protocol management/training, data analysis and interpretation
Management of lab inventory, ordering, compliance, safety protocols, and safety inspection
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
3 years of experience
Familiarity with molecular biology techniques including bacterial cloning, cell-based assays, protocol development and management, murine and cell culture work
Ability to perform and oversee molecular experiments including DNA/RNA extractions, PCR, and ELISAs
Conducting murine studies on diabetic wound infection including sample collection (wound and kidneys), tissue processing, and protocol maintenance and development
Establishment and maintenance of epithelial and immune cell cultures
