Assistant Treasurer, Branch Manager

Responsibilities

Thorough understanding of ATC products and services and ability to recognize customer needs, provide solutions, and suggest new bank products and services to customers
Ability to open, close, and maintain all types of deposit accounts and safe deposit boxes
Adhere to ATC customer service standards to ensure the branch achieves benchmark scores for Voice of the Customer Surveys
Assist with the cross-training of other employees
Advises customers and potential customers on financial matters, including more complex banking activities, such as establishing business accounts, foreign exchange, estates, trusts, IRAs, bonds, wire transfers, etc
Keep staff informed of pertinent changes in operational policy and procedures
Responsible for ongoing coaching and development of staff
Obtain and maintain Notary Public and NMLS
Ability to open and close branch and assist other branches as needed
Knowledgeable of security equipment, including the video and door access systems. Good understanding of security procedures, handling employee problems, emergency situations, and staff absence coverage
Demonstrates good decisions on customer problems and/or complaints and judgment calls
Prepare performance appraisals and disciplinary notices as required
Knowledge of branch maintenance and able to place proper service calls for problems regarding machines, indoor and outdoor facilities, and service companies
Knowledge of consumer loan products, ability to take applications, and close loans
Support and participate in internal business development initiatives and prospect calling
Perform pre-audits to ensure ongoing adherence with compliance procedures
Oversee the creation and implementation of branch schedules that provide for the most efficient use of staff resources while meeting customer needs
Make efforts to understand and manage scorecard targets

Required

Minimum of 2 years of Management Experience
A four-year degree or equivalent experience in branch management
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Open Office applications
