Responsibilities
Understand, protect and promote our empathetic, sustainable, digital, inclusive, people-focused culture in all aspects of the business by reinforcing positive workplace values and encouraging teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
Lead with empathy, strong communication, and a people-focused approach to achieve successful results for the South Area
Assist Project Managers with technical and civil engineering design and/or provide Project Management
Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:
Stormwater management design
Site grading
Erosion and sediment control design
Prepare plans for agency/municipal review
Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand
Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer
Maintain a high external profile through membership/attendance in industry organizations and continually growing a contact base
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
6+ years of experience in land development civil-site engineering
Strong written and oral communication skills
Servant leadership approach to the business – leading by example
Empathy and understanding while maintaining technical and client service excellence
A team builder, encourager and willing mentor
Proven ability to build strong partnerships and relationships both internally & externally
Preferred
Familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D
