They are looking for an Operations Engineering Intern to support their teams at the Manchester, CT site by gaining hands-on exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and contributing to projects in automation and digital integration.

Responsibilities

Integrate molding machine data via Linki2 into Node‑RED dashboards for real‑time SPC visualization and reporting

Integrate CNC milling and EDM machine data into Node‑RED for machine utilization analytics (spindle and burn‑time tracking)

Job shadow experts across the operation, including Process and Tooling Technicians/Engineers, Machinists, and Operational Leadership

Participate in technical training on Node‑RED, hardware integration, and smart‑factory workflows

Engage in self‑learning, applied problem‑solving, and collaborative innovation

Join team meetings and support project work that drives continuous improvement and engineered solutions

Required

Undergraduate currently enrolled in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment

Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university

3.0 minimum GPA

Preferred

Enthusiastic about working in a modern manufacturing environment

General AI/ML understanding

Familiarity with programming fundamentals

Ability to learn Node‑RED and Industrial IoT integration concepts

Highly collaborative, creative, and strong communicator

Prior internship experience is a plus
