Responsibilities

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
The successful candidate will help drive execution and must be able to effectively communicate with upper-level leadership
You will interface across all elements and sub-elements within DE as well as coordinate with other program and SDS division leaders
A successful track record of program performance, EVMS, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience is highly desired
Coordination with program assignment managers to understand staffing requirements

Project Execution
Integrate and manage between program Segments, and supporting functional teams by performing tactical day to day operations
Performing work related to planning, monitoring, and controlling work scope within your assigned program area
Review status of projects and budget, manage schedules, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objective
Develop mechanisms for monitoring and reporting project progress and for intervention and problem solving with senior management and managers
Coordinate schedules, and provide liaison assistance between the interfacing IPTs
Ensure IPT compliance with program processes and procedures and implement improvements
Coordinate and prepare executive and customer presentations
Evaluate and report health metrics for the IPT
Facilitate, coordinate and track preparation and submission of contract and other data deliverables to the customer
Coordinate and manage efforts surrounding key program events
Collaboration and communication
Regular day to day contact with Segment and/or Function Leadership
Coordinates with the integration team on day-to-day activities
Resolves complex process issues

Required

8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors, 6 years with a Masters, or 4 years with a PhD. In lieu of formal degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
At least five years of experience in leading project or cross-functional teams
Minimum 2 years of experience in managing EVMS projects
Experience in briefing executive leadership
Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances to meet business needs
Ability to obtain Control Account Manager (CAM) certification
Strong foundation in EVMS knowledge
Proficiency in Atlassian tool suite
Advanced Excel Skills

Preferred

PMP Certification
Capable of working with minimal direction, independently determines and develops technical objectives of assignments, and presents work upon completion for high level review
Ability to provide and implement solutions to advanced problems which require ingenuity and innovation. Working RCCAs and practicing Six Sigma principles
Experience with CAM responsibilities
Experience in DoD programs
Ability to obtain SAP clearance
Experience working RCCAs
Experience in operating within Six Sigma principles
