Accounting and Control Manager
Sirius PV USA is seeking an Accounting and Control Manager to drive financial success and contribute to the overall growth of the organization. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, cost accounting, and budget oversight while leading a team of accounting professionals.
Responsibilities
Daily and monthly closing process: Reconcile cash and receipts; maintain subledger details; recording categorized expenses; record payroll; review, approve and process expense reports; record inventory receipts; invoice client and follow-up on collections; pay vendors; record monthly accruals, etc
Financial Reporting: Play a pivotal role in the preparation and presentation of comprehensive financial reports. This includes compiling accounts and payment data for both annual and quarterly audits by independent external auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards based on IFRS
Cost Accounting: Creation and maintenance of cost accounting processes, including but not limited to: cost data collection; construct data accumulation systems; determine fixed costs; plan and record variable costs; review standard and actual cost for inaccuracies; analyze and report profit margins, etc
Budget Oversight: Collaborate with key stakeholders to oversee budgetary processes, providing valuable insights and recommendations for financial decision-making
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, implementing efficient systems and controls to enhance overall financial operations
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant accounting regulations and standards, ensuring the organization's financial practices align with tax and legal requirements. Collaborate with outside accounting firm on tax strategies and provide required information for income tax compliance and preparation
Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic financial planning by offering expertise in forecasting, risk analysis, and long-term financial goals
Qualification
Required
Bring a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial management, cost accounting and reporting
Must be proficient in working with the following softwares (MS Dynamics and Quick Books)
